Liza is a current student at Elgin Community College and plans to graduate in May 2023 with an Associate in Arts Degree and a BVS Certificate in Paralegal Studies. Liza applied to be an intern for the Spring Semester after taking Andrew’s Criminal Law Procedures class at Elgin Community College. The opportunity to learn the law while assisting clients through Volunteers of America Illinois’ (VOAIL) Support Services for Veteran Families program and having the opportunity to work with Andrew and his firm was what attracted her to the internship. Liza plans to work in the legal field after graduating.

Update: Liza has started working for the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office shortly after graduation.
