James G. Allen, Jr.

James graduated from Elgin Community College in December 2022 with High Honors and as member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honors Society. James started working for Andrew as his lead Paralegal at the firm in July 2022. Since starting at the firm, James has helped Andrew on some high-profile cases including the representation of a victim’s family under the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act (Marcy’s Law). James now assists Andrew, in his role as General Counsel for Volunteers of America Illinois, by providing legal assistance to the VOA Illinois Service & Support Center, a legal clinic in Elgin which provides free legal assistance to Veterans and their families through their Support Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. In addition to James’ Paralegal role at the clinic, he also helps supervises the Paralegal Interns at the clinic who are working toward their paralegal degree or certificate.
